- Teachers can make use of courseware online and the Learning Resource Sharing centre to improve the content of their courses or as supplementary material for their students. The e-Library is an excellent research tool and can be used for reference by the students. Teachers will need to register with the TCU to use these services.
- The TCU offers the teacher a chance to experiment with creating courses for distance learning. The LMS has two sections, official and experimental. They can upload courses that they want to test into the experimental zone. In this way they can learn from their mistakes in a safe environment.
- Teachers that have created online courses can host them through the TCU. The Learning management system (LMS) has a system to manage fee collection if the course is not free. For more information, contact the Office of Information Technology Administration for Educational Development (TCU) Tel. 02 354 5678.
